In-class Study Term

During the first component of the program, you will be studying at one of Vancouver ‘s top colleges. Their campus is located right in the middle of downtown, closed to the neighborhood of Gastown and also only 1 block from our office. They offer a great learning environment, featuring small class sizes, which is perfect to get the right amount of support from your teacher. They are accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of British Columbia (PCTIA) and received the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation, which is the provincial brand of quality for post secondary education.

Co-op Internship Term

6 weeks prior to the start of your co-op internship, one of our coordinators will ask you to come to our office to begin the unpaid internship placement process. Stepwest will guarantee your paid work experience in the Hospitality industry. Our coordinator will revise your resume to North American standards, prepare you for the internship interview with one on one meeting(s), schedule the work experience interview(s), confirm your job placement and monitor you until the end of your program. We ensure that you
will get the most out of your internship to allow you to put your studies to practical use

Part-time Work

You can work up to 20 hours per week during regular in-class study period, and full time during scheduled breaks and holidays (i.e. spring break).
